Allzu alt werde ich bei meiner Gesundheit kaum
werden. (. . . ) Ja, wenn ich wüßte, daß ich
meine Arbeit bis zum 30. Lebensjahr beendet haben
müßte, oder ich würde sie nicht erreichen, so
würde ich auch das auf mich nehmen. Lieber ganz
gestorben und gelebt -- als alt geworden und die
Welt immer nur tropfenweise genossen.

. . ) Yes, would I know, that i've to finish my
work 'til my 30. year of life, or i won't
accomplish it, i would bear that too. Preferably
entirely dead and lived - than become old and
enjoyed the world just drop by drop.
