Djeser djeseru

assumedly born 1473 / died 1458 BC
lived in the 18th dynasty of the New Kingdom

about her life is not very much known,
not even the data of birth, inthronization & death are really clear
is the long light brown haired mummy really Hatshepsut?
why has her son Tuthmoses III destroyed many of her images during his government?

she is known for her military & for her aesthetic engagement in ancient Egypt
in any case
i like her more than the other, more known women in Egypt's history
Nophretete & Cleopatra
Hatshepsut was "just" one solid Pharao among many others,
nothing more, but also nothing less
